Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Metys AI (“Metys AI”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the Metys AI website, application, and related services (the “Service”).

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use Metys AI on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” includes that company.

Metys AI is a B2B lead discovery platform. With tokens on your account, it may let you:

• Search for companies and contacts using natural-language queries and filters
• Receive AI-generated fit scores and short summaries
• Save leads and export them (for example as CSV or Excel)
• Buy tokens and manage payment

Search results are assembled from public web sources and optional third-party data providers. Results can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Metys AI does not guarantee that any company, person, email, or phone number is accurate, reachable, or available for outreach.

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.

You may also sign in with Google. Google’s terms apply to that sign-in flow. We receive basic profile information such as name, email, and avatar as described in the Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.

Search and results require prepaid tokens. You can create an account and see the search page for free. Running a search and unlocking results costs tokens, which you buy on the billing page when you need them.

Payments are processed by Paystack. By buying tokens you authorize us (and Paystack) to charge the pack price shown at checkout. Current packs and prices are on the billing page and may change with notice.

Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we decide otherwise. Each token purchase expires one month after its purchase date. Unused tokens are removed after expiry.

Each search spends the token amount shown on the billing page (currently one token per search). If your balance is too low, you will be asked to buy more tokens before results unlock.

We may throttle, queue, or refuse requests that threaten the stability of the Service or our providers (for example unusually high automated traffic).

Leads shown in Metys AI are compiled from publicly available pages and third-party indexes. We do not sell you exclusive rights to that information, and we do not promise that a contact has consented to hear from you.

You are solely responsible for how you use lead data, including emails, phone numbers, and profile links. That includes complying with anti-spam, privacy, telemarketing, and export laws that apply to you (for example NDPR, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, or local equivalents).

Do not use Metys AI to harass people, send unlawful bulk email, or contact anyone who has opted out. You must honor unsubscribe and “do not contact” requests you receive.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others’ rights
• Probe, scrape, or overload the Service beyond normal product use
• Reverse engineer, resell, or wrap the Service as your own product without permission
• Share login credentials or bypass token limits
• Upload malware or attempt to access other users’ data
• Misrepresent Metys AI results as a credit check, background check, or consumer report

We may investigate suspected abuse and suspend or close accounts.

The Service relies on third parties, which may include Google (sign-in), Paystack (payments), Gemini (AI parsing and scoring), and search or contact-data providers. Their terms and availability are outside our control. Outages or changes at a provider can affect search quality or billing.

Metys AI, the product design, and our software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business while your account is in good standing.

You keep rights in the queries you type and the lists you export. You grant us a license to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We aim to keep Metys AI available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, searches may return no results, and we may perform maintenance without notice when reasonably needed.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that a lead will convert, that contact details are current, or that AI scores are complete or unbiased.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metys AI and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim (or, if you are on a free trial with no fees, NGN 10,000).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.

You will defend and indemnify Metys AI against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of lead data, your outreach, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the product.

After termination, your license ends. We may delete account data after a reasonable period, except where we must keep records (for example billing). Sections that should survive (including 6, 9, 11, 12, and 13) will survive.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. If a change is material, we will try to notify you in the product or by email.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief anywhere to protect our rights.
